In life and art, I love to explore the simple moments that each day brings. By bringing attention to each day’s beautiful details, my hope is to ignite consciousness and gratitude through my work. I strive to celebrate and elevate the collective consciousness that connects us all.

Sara Hanson is an oil painter and multimedia artist whose work is characterized by energizing colors, detailed brush strokes, and close attention to light and reflection. With experience painting since she was a child, Sara has developed a unique voice and style in which she speaks to her audience. Born in Denver, Sara developed a passion for art at a young age, which she pursued by creating art in her free time, and attending classes with local artist John T. Cooksey and painting/drawing classes with Drew Walters throughout high school. While attending Rock Canyon HS, she won first prize in the painting and drawing category at the 2014 Douglas County art show for her drawing titled "Anything Helps.” After graduating with her business degree from CU Boulder in 2018, she began her professional career in human resources where she earned her PHR certification.

Her art is currently featured at the Denver Art Society in Denver's iconic Santa Fe arts district. Sara's work explores themes of awakened consciousness and romanticism often with subjects of love, nature, architecture, food and urban scapes. Sara draws inspiration from exploring new cultures, live music, nature and human connection, which informs her unique style and approach to painting. Sara creates art that is both beautiful and thought-provoking, inspiring viewers to look at the world around them in a new way and to appreciate the simple things in life. She is available for commissions, collaborations and custom print sizes.
